I booked at the oaks pier hotel at glenelg in south australia. I paid just under $600 online, and then when i got to the hortel with my girlfriend at 11pm we were told that i could not check in, because i had no photo ID (didnt seem toi bve an issue when iyt was time for taking the money!!) Then i was tolfd that they wouldnt even transfer the room into my girlfriends name even though she had photyo ID with her. I received no refund and therefore i have been ripped off for $600, and left to find (and pay for) another place to stay at 11pm so we didnt have to sleep on the street. Absolutely disgusting. I will be teklling EVERYBODY about how i was robbed for $600 and how the staff member there offered no help whatsoever!!!

I booked and paid for a serviced Studio Suite at the Mantra Hotel, Chatswood, Sydney and was given an unserviced suite. Our stay was for four nights. This was totally unacceptable. The hotel staff would not change our room to a serviced Studio Suite.

Money was taken from my account and it had WOTIF on the statement. I had booked and cancelled a few hotels and I understand that same take a deposit that is later refunded. I spent a long time on the phone with a man in India, which was frustrating for both of us, I think. He couldn’t find any reference to the amount missing from my account. It has sorted itself out today but I doubt I’ll use Wotif again.

I was alittle disappointed as I thought my booking was only reserving and the dollars would come out of my bank account closer to time of travel or at the hotel at time of stay. Reason I thought this was the button I selected was RESERVE

unable to change room size of booking from 2 to 3 bed apartment without first cancelling the 2 bed apartment to be advised will be charged a fee ? even though had taken option to be able to cancel ??

Purchase software has bug(s) in it. I selected a package and filled in all details and hit confirm. Money for hotel charged to my account. Software detected an additional charge of $1.36 for card and asks to confirm again. Again the software deducts hotel charges and then goes on to deduct airfare. So during the transaction hotel charges are deducted twice!! I lost two good packages due to not having enough money in my bank account and the only reason I did not have enough money in my account was because your software charged for the hotel twice during the transaction!! I finally managed to book my package by adding more money to my account. This is a serious bug and needs to be fixed asap.

Selecting accommodation was easy and cheap but hotel took the money from my account even though I requested to pay when I got there. My plans changed and I had to cancel and refund did not happen automatically. Getting the refund took longer to research and finalise than the booking
