I was searching and went to a Wotif reference . When I tried to book , it told me I already had an account … and suggested I sign in . As usual, I could not remember my password so I did the “forgot password” thing waited for the email, signed in … then it seemed to have lost my page and I had to find the place I wanted to book again from scratch.. would have been good if this process had been easier , thanks

While it was easy to search and book. Your advertising claim of 10% member-sign-in/ free joining was misleading. After joining, the site automatically refreshed with the new price. But it really only equated to 8% discount which would had been the same would I just use the a promo code that popped up at your site at the beginning of the seasrch.

It was certainly a very misleading claim. But as I was time poor and price was still reasonable, I went ahead with the booking anyway.

Bit disappointed actually. I have phoned and left messages as well as emailed to find out how we attange for late check out and have had no response from Ibis or WOTIF.

After agreeing to purchase the front page price, buyers move to the pay page where the fine print casually mentions “oh by the way, this establishment will require your payment of $200 deposit on arrival”.
What exactly is going on here? It’s scary, and probably in breach of consumer law.

I used Wotif to get 9% cashback for a flight. I paid $153.48 but only received $1.07. That is less than 1% which is $1.53. Just disappointed. Hope someone can explain this to me.

made booking for flight and accommodation
while making payment it knock back my visa payment
redid it and it took over 10 minutes to accept payment.
I check my bank account and it should money taken for part
of the booking and then 10 minutes later took the other half.

When making the booking it didnt advise you would be taking two
payments.

Was concerned that you were going to take payment twice.

Left me very happy with the whole process, wont do this again
will use other services.

Booking was pay at site, which incurs an extra charge which is OK. However, when booking is made there is no disclosure that a days “fee” was debited to my card, this is not OK. I have cancelled the booking and have to wait up to 10 working days to receive my refund, also not OK. If I elect to pay extra for the room and pay at site, there needs to be a disclosure that money will be debited, this is dishonest practice.
