Booked 2 rooms for the same night at same hotel within a matter of minutes of each other and the price went up despite the “special” price on the front page being the same. Obviously a money grab

Assigned room very Dark.with..one small window up high in room. Long wait for second room round 25 min, when receptionist said will only be ‘short while’ while she chatted on phone to a friend. Second room…had disabled bathroom, which receptionist called ‘ walk in shower’. so no Bath or balcony as noted in website booking for this room. Too tired to ask or move to another room. Won’t be going there again. Disappointing experience on what looks like a lovely motel.

Two rooms were booked by staff incorrectly. Had to pay for a room at the hotel because it wasnt put though by staff correct. After 5 phone calls to customer service I finally recieved my refund. Still have to wait 5-7 days for the money to go back in to my account. A room that was meant to be $150 per night ended up costing $400 out of pocket for the single night. The room I was eventually put into was small and had only one bed for two people.

I felt that the price was too high for the room.
There were small holes in the bedspread of my twin bed, and the pillows were terrible.
There was an empty tablet sachet on the floor under the table.
A hole in the ceiling of the bathroom was plugged with paper.
The greeting on arrival was very ordinary, no friendly smile. although not rude either.
The room was advertised as last room available when there appeared to be more than a few empty rooms.
On the plus side, I was only staying one night.

The customer service at reception(possibly the owner) was rude and made it seem like I was an inconvenience coming in at 7.30pm (I only booked the accommodation an hour before hand) I wasn’t acting grumpy or anything but somehow I seemed to be that inconvenience

I have my Australian profile set up with Wotif and usually have no problems, however I was recently in Vietnam booking flights back to Aust. Selected flights and booked and paid in what I thought were AUD but my CC was charged in USD. At no time was I advised that the transaction would be on US$.
