Made two recent air bookings on Wotif – one great – no problems.
The other one: no conf. email came, so I was puzzled. That is unusual. Had no booking ref. – needed for check in. So I called the 1800 no for help.
Very efficient – sent the necessary document, with the booking ref. – and much detail…
BUT I notice that no-where does it use the term booking CONFIRMED, and it doesn’t state the price paid (as did the other one).
I rang the 1800 no. again, and she assured my the flight (tomorrow) was all in order, and confirmed the charge to the card account used
So OK! But why were those two details omitted? Has policy changed?
I STILL LIKE WOTIF BECAUSE IT CHARGES LOW OR NO ‘SERVICE’ FEES – COMPARED TO A MAJOR COMPETITOR!
