Firstly it was because of her accent it was very hard to understand what the operator was saying. Secondly she kept putting me on hold for no apparent reason then coming back to me. If I recall correctly the phone call lasted 25 minutes, it was a long time.
The reason I rang was to change the date on a booking I had made back in October. I was told that I would get a refund in 7-10 days on my original booking. The accommodation I had cost $123.92, The operator told me that it was going to now cost in the range of $160, when I queried the charges being more than what was showing online I was told that she couldn’t help me with a new booking and that I would have to go online and do a booking there.
I proceeded to do this; the cost was going to be in the $140 range. When I had completed the booking at my end the screen said that I had to resubmit the booking. This time I could no longer get a standard room with a king size bed, instead what was on offer was a standard room with two double beds at a cost of 160.50!! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.
I feel that I had no option but to accept this as we are also staying at the Coral Tree Inn in June when they will be minding some of our luggage for us to collect upon our return.
I note that you say Perfect! Anything else? Its far from perfect for me.
