I made a hotel booking on Monday night (which was refundable), I then found the same room $110 cheaper on last minute. I called through to see if wotif could price match and the man that I spoke to said no because it was over 24 hours since I made the booking and I wasn’t logged in as a member when the booking was made which is completely ridiculous, it shouldn’t matter how the booking was made. I then told him that I was going to cancel my booking and book again with last minute, he would rather lose the whole booking than price match the room for me.
Considering I have booked two hotels within the week on wotif I think this was a little unfair. Needless to say I will not be booking through wotif for any further accommodation.
