My experience was terrible. The distance was/is advertised incorrectly on the website, 50km verses 100miles is a huge distance so I cancelled straight away and was told by the hotel to contact wotif so I did and the hotel still took my money. Call centre contact is also difficult to contact.

Booked a hotel, good. Then my bank blocked my credit card due to an insecure line to someone else. Bugger.
Glad the bank was on the ball.
What happened Wotif? Never has that trouble before using Wotif for the past nearly 15 years

I booked thro Wotif a 2 queen beds room for 4 adults for 2 nights. Your cheapest option was $323 and that was with the VIP discount WHAT A JOKE. A couple hours later my daughter did her booking EXACTLY SAME ROOM SAME RESORT HOTEL for $240 Cairns Colonial Club. YOU OWE ME THE DIFFERENCE IN MY OPINION. DISGUSTED.

Was really disappointed to find upon arrival at our booked hotel that there was a $200 bond that had to be paid that had no mention of it on wotif. This affected our time away as it was money not expected to be paid by us.

We booked accommodation for Mudgee 26-28 August and a window came up saying we would get 10% discount if we paid immediately. However, at checkout that coupon never came up even though we tried it 3 times. We then call Wotif Customer Support and were told if we would start an account with Wotif we would receive a $50 discount coupon within 24 hours. This happened on Tuesday 14 August at 6.30pm with a man named Dylan who obviously doesn’t exist as this ustomer service rep. gave us a false name and a false promise, therefore we will never use Wotif again. This is really a case for Consumer Affairs as neither the 10% coupon came up at checkout, nor did we ever get the promised $50 coupon.

After booking my motel , I had an urgent call and so had to cancel this booking ..
Was unable to et into this site to do so and when finally I found where I could email was informed a charge of $135 would be made to cancel EVEN THOUGH ON THE BOOKING SITE IT WAS STATED IF NEED TO CANCEL THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE !!!!
WILL NOT BE USING WOT-IF OR CONNECTED SITES EVER AGAIN
