I have always used wotif app to book hotels and usually don’t have any issues. This time, I have had plenty and are not finding either wotif or the hotel we booked to be very helpful. I have looked at other accomodation apps and have finally found a replacement. DON’T BOTHER WITH WOTIF!!

Scam pricing show one price with dates already in and then click on hotel and price goes up

I was quite shocked to find that my reservation of a hotel for my parents for mid October had been immediately debited from my visa card in full on the day I booked, on 22 August, rather than just a deposit.
At no stage was there a warning that this would happen.
I won’t be using wotif again.

well – having just seen a video of dick smith letting me know how the wotif, trivago, booking.com sites actually work (owned by two large overseas companies and no tax paid in australia) i will no longer use any of these sites. extortion plain and simple. very nasty people.

Due to a postponement of a medical matter, I needed to cancel/postpone this booking with Bega Downs Motor Inn for 30/8/18 and 31/8/18.
Advised to go online to cancel only to find that the WotIf, Expedia and all the other online services had a policy of NON REFUNDABLE, The expiry date to cancel was 28/8/18 at 2pm. I presented at the Inn to make changes in due time, but the delay was getting home to attend to it.
I am not able to accept a paid deposit of $237 should not be refundable, a nominal charge would be OK.
I would suggest that you in TRUMPLAND are siphoning funds all over the globe under the pretense of a service.
Actually, I would call it extortion and theft on a global stage.

Service was a joke. The booking I made was explicitly advertised as ‘reserve now, pay later.’ All the way through the booking it was referred to as being ‘reserved’ with payment being required at a later date. The next thing I know a ‘deposit’ payment has been taken, which is the whole amount..and without any notification nearly $900.00 is gone from my everyday bank account. Trying to follow this up has also been extremely hard, with no support email or phone numbers easily listed or accessible on your website.
