I booked a return ticket to Melbourne (domestic). Jetstar one way Tigerair the other. When wotifs confirmation email came through only the return leg was booked… I had to go back and book the other leg separately (tickets were on sale, I worried that I would miss the sale price, also worried that the date needed would be sold out), meanwhile hoping that I wasn’t double booking (would I get a second confirmation email with the other leg, I didn’t) since I was using two separate carriers.
It was stressful, plus the booking page wasn’t accepting my travel name (has to be the same as on passport…it was), I eventually managed to book the other leg.
I think that I’ll use a travel agent next time.

Very disappointed. We booked pet friendly accommodation and i have just found out the room we booked is not pet friendly. Kids are devastated.

What happenned to this stupid system? When I called the customer service, they just transfer my call into hotel booking?
Bad service ever, never comeback and book from this site anymore!

I wished to upgrade to a more expensive hotel. Wotif told me this was not possible despite the establishment saying I could cancel without penalty up to March 16- Wotif said it was confirmed and thus not possible. Seeing as the confirmation was instantaneous via Wotif’s computer program I don’t see how it is ever possible to upgrade. I will never use Wotif again as booking .com allows you to change your booking up to a week beforehand

When I attempted to book accommodation through
Wotif, the program kept changing the dates required. I was booked perfectly for about 5 weeks later than required. As you may imagine, I was not happy!

Disappointed to find going directly to the hotel’s website, we could’ve got a much cheaper rate, not what we use an aggregation site for! You advertise best prices, not the case this time around.

I looked at your site evening of 4/March and by the time I wanted to the price went up by some 10%.
I think you operate on the premise that once someone is interested you automatically put the price up.

I had booked 1 nights stay at a GC hotel as a present for my sons birthday. After booking I received an email saying there was nothing more to do, no need to call to confirm booking etc etc etc. So I mentally locked that away in the “sorted” pile. So you can imagine I was shocked on the day of checkin (with husband + 2 kids) to be told by the hotel checkin staff Wotif had cancelled the reservation the day after I had booked it. We were away from home with no where to stay. What a disaster. I have no confidence in booking with wotif again.

People at reception are very rude. I have got a guest with me and the hotel staff charged me for that. The reason they gave me, I have to pay guest charges coz I didn’t made booking directly with the hotel but use” Wot if” and Expedia. The concierge staff is very rude as well. You have to pay extra for Wifi. Absolutely disgusting. I never recommend this hotel to anyone.
