January 9, 2023They did nothing to help me. I struggled to find the place and then I had questions and they told me to call budget, I don’t have a phone here ?
January 7, 2023This accommodation is a joke! Nobody onsite! A call centre somewhere in Asia. Nobody answers the phone number to ring! Nobody responds to messages left!
No codes sent in a timely manner! No satisfaction for the customer from the hotel or from Wotif! I thought that Wotif was a reputable booking agency but we have had NO response to emails sent?
I reserved a room with an insuite bathroom. I actually paid more money to get that kind of room. On the website, it was crystal clear that, the higher priced room, had a private bathroom.When I arrived at the hotel, they offered a room with a bathroom down the hall and said it was the only room they had left. Obviously, having paid more money for a room with a private bathroom, I was not happy. As an older person who uses the bathroom a few times during the night, going down the hall was not something I was prepared to deal with and I paid more money for the room with the private bathroom.
It was incredibly difficult to get someone to discuss the situation with and, after I reached him, he insisted that because the confirming email from wotif did not specify a private bathroom, he could not help me. Obviously, one doesn’t see the confirming email until you have paid for the room. He also asked me if I had taken a screenshot of the page when I made the reservation. Honestly, it would not occur to me that I would need to take a screenshot because I was dealing with such a dishonest company that uses these kind of bait and switch techniques. I have booked with a number of other companies and they have always dealt with me fairly when there was a situation like this. Ultimately, the person I spoke with used several delaying techniques to try to wear me down and get me to the except the situation as is. He then cut and pasted the same response several times and the conversation was completely unhelpful. I booked a room at a different hotel and I’m in the process of challenging the wotif charge through my credit card company.
It is fairly apparent that they have set up their customer support system to take the maximum amount of time so people simply give up. That appeared to be the strategy of the person on the chat window. The situation is already cost me about an hour and a half of my vacation and certainly some considerable aggravation. Even if their prices look a little better, you should never deal with this company ever.

Will only use booking.com from now on
