The hotel has lower prices direct than you charged me for the same room, you will never have my service ever again and I will make a point of spreading the word, I’ll cost you more than you’ve made on me…why? because your service didn’t get back to me when I made this complaint the day I booked.

Wotif was great to deal with however, the room that I booked at Dolphin Heads Resort in Mackay was not nice, it was old and outdated, beds were uncomfortable and old, mouldy patio where it has not been cleaned for I don’t know how long, possum poo over the patio table and chairs. Bins overflowing with rubbish nearby and smelt. Paid $112 for a garden room and was put facing the car park where as my friends got a ocean view room through AIRBNB for half the price @ $60 and their room was clean, beds were new and comfortable, patio very clean, no smelly bins nearby. I should have gone through AIRBNB.

If a hotel has special conditions such as not having a front desk so you have to check in at another address or make special arrangements, that should be noted BEFORE you make your booking not have all this stuff sprung on you after.

I’ve recently made an error on my booking, tried to call the Wotif number to be told of approx. more than an hour wait. I’m working and couldn’t wait for that long to speak to someone. I however logged in to the website to be advised that to make changes, a payment of approx. $800 will be applicable. I didn’t have any option but to make another booking with another airline….unfortunately I won’t use your website ever again.

My first and last time using WOTIF. After trying to use an unfamiliar format for the first time I booked a hotel for the wrong month. When speaking with a “customer Service” (haha) rep and told outright that even though the booking is a month away, there are no refunds!! Each time I asked a question, I got the same parrot like answer. I will spread the word wide and far. Disgusting service and sydtem. Back to booking.com for me!!

I was very unhappy as for the second time the date has changed!! Leaving me with payment for the same room twice and also a week after the dates I put into the calendar. I check the date. I couldn’t change the booking at the Motel as they said I had booked on line so I will be ringing motels directly in future.

The one star is not for Wotif but the appalling hotel booked through them who, when I was 10mins away, rang to advise in a rude manner, that I did not have a room, they had no rooms for 3 people, and it was my fault for not checking that. Everytime I tried to explain I had a booking via Wotif for 3, the receptionist told me to stop yelling and even threatened to call the police, even though I could hardly get a word in. Incredible.
