The accommodation was not even available

I booked and paid for 3 nights accommodation in one hotel. The hotel called me to say they only had a room for 2 nights and that we would have to move to another room for the third night. We do not want to move rooms once settled. Hotel said we could cancel but needed to call Wotif to cancel and get refund. After spending a hour on the phone on hold waiting for a customer service person I was told that they would contact the hotel the next day to confirm my story and that Wotif would call me after 1pm to advise that all was cancelled and refund would be made.
1. They have charged my credit card.
2. No refund has been made.
3. No one called me to say that cancellation had been accepted.
I have had to make a second booking (not through Wotif) and have paid for two lots accommodation.
I would like my credit card refund immediately as this was not my fault nor the fault of the hotel.
I would also like either a phone call or a email confirming that the refund is being made and when.

Don’t book me into sold out hotel & take money off my credit card then don’t inform me untill 24 hours after motel rang me me to tell me they couldn’t accommodate me then tell me I would havemoney back on my credit card in five days

Made a online booking with Wotif on the 28/7/19 for 2/8/19. Through a medical situation, I was forced to cancel the booking on 30/7/19. There was no refund, even though the motel that I contacted directly said a refund should be forthcoming.

Very disappointed, as I paid for a service I was unable to use. I believe ample time was given with the cancellation.

Will not use again – made a booking (2 nights), 20mins later I needed to change to 1 night only – no refund available (and yes, was in the T&C’s – if I had of gone direct to the hotel I would not have had the issue) – lesson learnt

I accidentally booked the wrong dates because there website glitched and refreshed and I didn’t notice it had changed the dates on me, then when I noticed what happened they wouldn’t let me change or get a refund. Will never use again.

Quest was fantastic in organising alternative accommodation and keeping me informed. However Punthill Essendon were terrible. No key was left in the box for me to collect when I arrived. It then took an hour to get inside the building. In the meantime I had to stand in the cold and needing to go to the toilet. In the end I went back to my car to keep warm. I will not ever recommend this accommodation to anyone. There wasn’t even an apology

For business travelers you need to have a box to tick so you issue a proper tax invoice, the only receipt you have issued is not tax compliant in Australia and you have added another unnecessary level of frustration cause I have to go looking for the information myself now, unless I’ve missed something but other sites I’ve used issue proper tax invoices
