October 14, 2018Your advertised room was wrong. I had no balcony. I was put in a what looked like a toilet with beds. I had to up grade with the hotel pay extra 40$. You need to sort out your pictures for the budget room as it was not my experience. Wrong advertising I quess. Other wise the hotel is great

Booked airfares and unfortunately when to cancel 9 hours later and they refused to do so.
October 14, 2018This is not for this booking but I made a booking a few days before this which i had to cancel then spent 1 hour on the phone to Wotif telling them they had refunded the money but on the same day taken double the amount out of the visa card they said they would refunded it good but I shouldn’t have had to spent 60 mins on the phone luckily I checked the visa card!!!
October 14, 2018The cancellation policy is not clear for each booking like it is on booking.com
I could not modify my dates, was asked to cancel the booking to modify dates. And then got charged a cancellation fee.
I’ll just use booking.com next time.
October 12, 2018Terrible! My card was double charged!
It came up that there was a card error so re entered it and it came out twice!
Now I am waiting for my money to be returned still and it’s been 3 days!
Accomodation that I booked contacted me days later to say that they were not available due to renovations. I then had to cancel reservation from my end although this was not possible as they have a no refund policy. Anyway after many phone calls, a lot of frustration and a cost to myself I think it may be resolved. Still waiting for refund to hit my bank account however.

October 9, 2018I received this response to a complaint made last week. My friend and I turned up in Cunnamulla thinking we’d booked two rooms. I made the booking at 11:30am however when we arrived later that day – approximately 4pm – we were informed by the owner of the hotel they’d been booked out for weeks. There was a function on and there was no possible way Wotif had confirmed a room for us at this establishment. Now the Wotif representative called Mahua has stated it’s my fault because I wasn’t there are 2pm. My response to him precedes his / hers to me.

Check in was available from 2:00pm – standard check in time for Australian hotels – we did not have to be there at 2pm. I met the owner on arrival at the hotel and she stated Wotif have been double booking her establishment for weeks. The owner was adamant all of their rooms had been booked for a function months in advance. So don’t go telling me it’s my fault. Wotif stuffed up! Wotif majorly inconvenienced us and we won’t be using your service again. We had to drive 200km to the next town to find a bed for the night. The aforementioned function that had booked out the Club Boutique hotel had also booked up every other available hotel room in town. A $50 credit voucher is an insult. Very poor form.
Now, I’d appreciate your understanding in this matter.

I would like to inform you that your check-in time was at 2.00 pm and you arrived late. However, there was check-in instructions in the property details that if you arrive after check in time, contact the property in advance using the information on the booking confirmation to confirm the reservation.
However, I have sent an email to the hotel regarding the same. Please allow us 24 to 48 hours once we get the response from the hotel we will assist you accordingly.

pretty poor, had to cancel accom due to family emergency. called hotel to let them know. they told me all was good and I needed to cancel through wotif to be able to get my money back. so that’s what I have done and no refund has come back!!
