I rang to cancel my booking because I booked the wrong date. The automated voice told me that I was unable to. I had to contact the motel and pay again for my room. Still would like to cancel the booking if someone could help me. The motel said it was fine.

You get one price, and then when you go to pay it magically increases! And then i open it up in another browser and go through to book and the price is magically reduced again.

We booked a hotel with free early check-in advertised then was told by the hotel – there is no guarantee (don’t advertise it if its not guaranteed) – Its false and misleading as per ACCC website. We were also only made aware of hotel facilities not being available after we booked it ie: the pool and gym. And now we can’t cancel as we didn’t choose that option – but its not fair that we weren’t told about that before hand. We wouldn’t of booked otherwise. There is also NOWHERE to make a complaint on your website or the phone line – which is very deliberate.

I have travelled Australia thru work for many years staying I some remote locations. This place should be closed down, torn carpets, cigarette burns in carpet and the only 1 seat in the room, smell of chemicals was unbelievable , bed torn, no towel rails in bathroom, broken and missing tiles , I complained and they shifted me to another room, not much better, please do not recommend or show such rubbish dumps as motels, power point for broken electric jug damaged and cracked, big safety issue, air conditioner so noisy you had to turn it off to speak on the phone

If you advertise a room as available, make sure its available. I got an email from The Hub just hours after my booking was complete (and paid for!) To say they could not accommodate me due to a problem with my room. I then had to find new accommodation at the last second and pay for that room too! I now have to work out how i get the $200 i paid for the room i did not get to stay in..

Hotel was deceptive and asked for a further $210 after the fact. $200 “bond” and $10 for a cot! This was not disclosed in the booking.
