December 24, 2018Wotif did not actually booked my outboard flight. It was shown on my itinerary, I received confirmation but arrived at the airport and the airline did not have a record of my flight or booking and the flight was full. I had to book a brand new flight at the airport as it was Christmas Eve and I had to travel.
At no point was I notified of an issue, in fact I kept getting confirmation emails from Wotif. Upon calling the customer service line, I was told that I ought to have noticed the issue/kept an eye on my bank account (to see that I was only charged for one flight). I was also told that Wotif was aware of the technical issue leading to my flight not being booked (as it had happened to others) and that an attempt to contact me was made. I asked for details of this attempt and the person said they didn’t have those details before him. Really unacceptable!
Disgusting, the room was dirty, dusty and the receptionist advised there was no cleaner to go over the room again and that she couldn’t leave reception to come view the room for herself. There were also 2 other complaints occurring at the exact same time I went to reception to show them these photos. We left straight away. They haven’t refunded us the money and judging by the attitude of reception they aren’t planning on giving it back. I will be escalating this issue as soon as I can.
December 23, 2018Really poor customer service. I called in to cancel the booking I made incorrectly – booked a hotel instead of just reserving it. I called within 5mins of the booking and it’s nearly 4 days now and it’s still not cancelled.
On day 1, i spent 30 mins just to cancel the booking, only to be told that they can’t do it then and someone will contact me once the booking is cancelled, but no one bothered to contact me. I had to call next day to check the status and only then I received an email saying that I need to wait another 48 hours.
The interesting thing is that I was able to cancel my another booking online with Booking.com within 10secs.
Unsure how Wotif is surviving with such poor system and customer service
I booked accommodation for 2 nights only to find out later from the motel that that they were booked out and couldn’t take out booking.
How does that happen, the website was incorrect
December 23, 2018I will no longer use this site to help me make book, i had a bad experience i lost $100’s on making booking all because i put the wrong date. I couldn’t even get me money reimbursed. From now on I’m sticking with trivago.!! I will not recommend it to anyone
December 23, 2018I booked a ticket. My account is debited and I got the full ticket but when I check on the airline website it’s not coming here than I have to call so many people to get it fixed and needs to spend extra money for which I have to borrow money from someone else. I know my money is going to be refunded to me but it will take some days.

December 20, 2018Double charged my account.Now account is overdrawn with a $25 fine for overdrawing.
December 20, 2018On the 6th dec i sent number of emails to cancel and request someone get back to me.
Never heard back, i rang motel, they said they would record cancellation, but had to go through you.
Well i just got charged for the room, though i did all i could to cancel.
Very unfair
