Be honest and up front about the fees. I have only ever been charged the quoted price but when I looked at my bank statement I had been charged more. I tried to find a phone number for Wotif but couldn’t and then I emailed Wotif x 2, no reply – poor service. I eventually got on to Budget Motels/Hotels and was told by an employee that the extra was charge by my bank – I told him the my bank did not charge extra and he argued that it did. I went to my bank and was reassured it was a “commission” charged by Wotif. Why did this happen as I had never had this problem previously? I will NOT be booking with Wotif/Expedia ever again because of dishonesty with the charges and giving me false information at my bank’s charges. I will also be telling all my friends and acquaintances about my experience which will be very bad publicity.

The online site needs improvement , made a booking and put in the date for arriva land departure ,there was no please confirm details it just went straight through ,and when I got my conformation email it was for different dates , had to rebook and as the original $74 per night was non refundable didn’t have much choice but to go with the $130 per night , approx, I now had to pay , wouldn’t have made the booking at that price ,not happy with wotif , will stick wiyh booking. Com in the future.

Ive rebooked for tomorrow night at the Hyatt only to find cheaper rooms around the same area.
I only went with your recommendation and im not happy.

You are not answering my emails regarding a credit needed for me
I have explained over and over that this booking was in error
We cancelled within 5 mins of ringing motel and if u dont
Credit my acccount i will contact ombudsman.

lets just say lice in the bed, shared bathroom do not stay there,

Customer service should be able to speak English (Chris claims his name was )all I wanted was to change my flights and he kept saying “please repeat the last word you said” so I said “ forward” he said do not use profanity with me or I will hang up. Absolutely useless and never again will I book with wotif

I still have no confirmation of my flights.

I had to pay the whole cost of the trip and flights upfront even though trip is not until March.

The total cost was not apparent or even possible to estimate even closely until very late in the sales flow.

Very poor, will be trying alternative sites in future.

When I made the booking I was tired. I specified in the original search and at least once more it was for the night of the 27th December – and I admit I did not check the final result as I had twice stated I wanted the booking for the 27th Dec 2018. Yet apparently the booking was made for 3/1/2019.
