March 26, 2018Wotif had a pre-filled in date for a hotel booking that confused me and I ended up with the wrong dates. It cost me $129. Even though I rang them immediately to correct the error they still charged me the $129 fee. Not Happy.

Always book with free cancellation policy until just prior to date of stay.
Thought I’d try wotif to book this time.
Booked 4 nights accomm which looked like free cancellation policy attached to the conditions
Tried to alter booking to 3n instead of 4n and there is in the fine print a penalty of one nights accommodation even though the booking is nearly one month away.
The other booking online websites do not have this penalty.
I have contacted the hotel to try to change the amount of nights booked without incurring a penalty.
Will not be using Wotif again and will be telling friends of this experience with the fine print in your booking service which was not made clear enough when making the booking online.
The booking I made with you did not reach the supplier.
This could have been a disaster considering the stormy weather and ill child I had with me.
However fortunately the (Cairns Luxury Apartments) were able to look after us and went out of their way to find a comfortable, lovely room Even though the booking hadn’t been forwarded on to them.
I made a booking to Florence for coming December 2018 on Wotif website and it’s supposed to be a free cancellation and pay at hotel booking. But my credit card was charged plus an international transaction fee. I then wrote back to the support team email for more than a week, no one response to me at all. I don’t even know can I cancel my booking or not if my schedule is changed. It’s very poor customer service.

Hi. When making this booking I was given the option to pay on check in which I selected. However the payment was processed on my card. Fix?
March 24, 2018I have not received confirmation of my booking, or receipt for payment and am therefore not sure the Hotel booking has been completed and until this questionnaire, did not know how to contact Wotif. Can someone please contact me. I also cannot make contact using this email and the Itinerary number. Help.
March 23, 2018The hotel never received the confirmation and contact me to chase up with wotif to get it sent. Nothing came of this from wotif, so I can cancelled the booking and booked through another website, and I can’t find info any info on when the refund will be given back. I’m not a business, I’m not millionair, I can’t wait an unknown time for $100 – I need that now.
March 23, 2018Terrible, booked a room for 2 nights..wotif took my money, gave me a email intiniary and when i went to check in at the hotel, there was no booking, couldn’t get a room anywhere, slept in my car..soi not happy, wotif are making me wait ages for a refund..
WONT USE WOTIF EVER AGAIN
The flight was canceled and I had buy another ticket that cost me $250, I know it wasn’t Wotif’s fault but I’m very disappointed.
