Bitterly disappointed. I paid additional money for an upgraded room in Melbourne, only to be given a base room. After investigating the hotel showed me the order from WOTIF had sent through a request for a base room only.

Now this could be a mistake, or it could be a way to get additional money out of people who aren’t going to complain when they get stuffed out of what they pay for.

Either way, at 1 o’clock in the morning when I check into somewhere, I want what I pay for.

I’m unimpressed, look forward to posting this issue on social media, and will Ben using a booking site unconnected to wotif in the future.

Wotif sold me a weeks accommodation for a Hotel that does not exist. Wotif took payment and have not refunded me the money. In fact I spent over an hour trying to speak to someone from wotif yesterday and was told by their customer service agent he would sort it. Even rang from 0280662748 to say he would sort it. Needless to say it hasn’t been sorted – Wotif is still selling fraudulent accommodation, refusing to refund and next to impossible to contact. Overall a pretty fucked experience.

The terms and conditions on Wotif said pay upon arrival and no deposjt

The place we booked ended up taking a deposit of 50% and the cancellation deadline did not match that of Wotif’s terms and conditions

I selected the pay later for 2 bookings one in Paris & one in Rome. For the Paris booking I was charged for 1 night & on the Rome booking all 5 days where charged. If the pay later option is not available at those hotels why have it as an option. Dissapointed with your service is all I can say.

My accommodation was cancelled by the resort. After four long phone calls, having to explain myself 4 times that my accommodation had been cancelled because the resort was sold and closing, having to forward the email i had received from them to you, only because i had confirmed with them by email had i received this advice – too bad if i hadnt confirmed – i would have shown up and had nowhere to stay – i received a call from you to tell me (which i had already told you four times) that the resort had cancelled my booking. I feel sorry for people who are continuing to book at that resort not knowing it will be closed. It is still available for people to book on your website.

After a 6-hour drive from Melbourne, I arrived at the hotel only to discover that they couldn’t locate my reservation. I won’t rely on Wotif in the future.

Booked flights through Wotif a few days ago only to find out tonight they have been cancelled, with no explanation. Now i have accommodation booked in another state and no flights to get there or back home again. I don’t understand why this has happened.

Sorry I am not rating WOTIF’s service poor as I think in general WOTIF is the best source for motels in Australia. I am rating Bell City Breakfree one star. Poor customer service and worst of all the daily service is non existing. Coffee without coffee cups, no top ups of shampoo, no cleaning of room. Wotif gave me a good rate however service of Bell City Hmmm.
