January 3, 2020Bed configuration was not as it was advertised. In addition the room was absolutely filthy I was worried that my family would catch a disease. We did not stay in the room. I would never book a room through you again.
January 3, 2020I received a $50 discount voucher in a goodies bag at The Festival of Snags in MUDGEE. When I booked our hotel, I don’t know if there was an option to add my discount code, but if there was it wasn’t very noticeable. So when my booking went through without the discount, I searched a contact number for Wotif (not available on website), in the vain hope that they’d be able to add my discount to the booking. I gave up after still not hearing from a human being after a good fifteen minutes.
Upon arrival at our motel, reception informed us that they did not have a five bed room as booked. So although we had paid an extra $13 for an extra person for the night, we had to squeeze the five of us into one double bed and two singles. The hotel refused to refund the $13 as it seems they are not happy about bookings coming through Wotif.
I’d ask Wotif for my refund, but I’m not prepared to sit on the phone for god knows how long.
I will not be booking accommodation via Wotif again.
Send a confirmation booking and only take the correct money for the package, not multiple amounts

December 29, 2019I saw there’s booking available for 31st Dec – 01 Jan 2020, so I paid by CC and submitted. Then Wotif sent me confirmation I’m booked for 9th Jan – 10th Jan instead. Called straight away that night but staff advised to call 8:30 am next morning so I can speak to Appeal team to request for refund or cancellation. I called 8:30 ish am that morning, spoke to a guy named Debasish and after him speaking to Appeal team, he said NO! That they couldn’t cancel nor refund me of my money. What a scam, deceitful website you have Wotif. I will never ever booked with you again AND I will advise all my family and friends to stay away from your website. What a disgusting website you are offering to vulnerable people like me! Shame on you
December 29, 2019I became ill after booking my room and could not travel. I started phoning around 9am on the 28th to try and change my booking but could not reach anyone either by phone or online. I left messages but have received no reply. It is now 11am on the 29th and I am still not able to contact anyone. I am assuming their systems are down so there may be a valid reason for this negligence. I may upgrade my rating depending on how they handle the situation once I manage to communicate with them. I would expect to pay a fee for re-booking but not the whole cost of the accommodation. If this is the case I will re-book with them and upgrade my rating, but If they insist on full payment I will book somewhere else and not use them again.

December 29, 2019When my itinerary arrived both flights had been changed. Complete waste of my time and money as the new times dont suit. The cost of changing the flights is almost as much as the flights. How is this acceptable in any way?
December 29, 2019Conducted a search for pet friendly accomm and booked one of the results. After confirming the booking the motel told me they do not accept pets. Shitty search system. Used another one instead.
