The room I booked was down graded when I proceed with the booking and I had to ring the hotel to get the room I had been booking

Clean the grey/black grime around taps, bleach and scrub off the black mould on the grout in the shower, wash the brown stains & dust & spider webs off the bathroom walls and ceiling, paint windowsill in the shower, replace the toilet it’s stained and water fills 24/7, replace the antique plug it it seriously looks the age of the building it’s old and corroded, and looks germy, you couldn’t get all the usual canberra TV channels, Clean the stains off the carpets, The room stunk terribly, a mix of stale smoke, musty & unaired.
Thank fully the bed and towels were clean and comfortable and it was a one night stay that I wont ever experience again and hope others don’t either. I’d have expected this standard in a poor run down pub, it’s lucky I can’t give it a half star! Staff member friendly & obliging and allowed me to check in early.

I was very disappointed to have been charged more than the motel charges (as I found on their website, sadly after I’d booked through wotif) a mistake that i will never make again.

I booked flights, paid for it. Then while it was processing for confirmation my computer froze and that was it. No email to confirm but they still managed to take my money. Tried calling waited for 40mins. Got a hold of them and told them my problem and they said they couldn’t help me.
I’m not happy at all.

That app keeps shutting down and won’t allow me to change or cancel my booking-it’s rather useless if you can’t use it.

My wife and I had the most terrible experience dealing with bookings through your website. On the day of our stay at our hotel I was concerned that I received no communication from Wotif via email or any other form (call, text etc). I had to find the Wotif phone number to speak to a representative who could not find any details of my stay even though our credit card had been billed and I gave explicit details of payment reference numbers and time. After 3 phone calls to 3 different representatives I was then advised to seek more information from my bank. This caused great frustration as I felt I shouldn’t have to be calling and being on hold with my bank while stressed about my booking and potential loss of funds. I was on the phone to the bank and my wife was on the phone to Wotif. This proved very stressful and definitely not the easy booking experience that your company advertises. It was extremely disappointing that I, the customer was the go-between person for Wotif and my bank. In the end, Wotif said they they couldn’t find any information. Very frustrating as our family was very much looking forward to the holiday. I finally after much further frustration was able to call the resort direct. They informed me that there was a booking. I was so angry that my whole morning had been wasted and the stress of all those phone calls, not to mention my funds still being handed over to Wotif and cleared weeks ago. I told the customer service representative that while not her fault, I was very disappointed and would strongly consider never bringing my business to Wotif again. If your company was able to maintain a booking, or provide industry standard and satisfactory communication, this issue would never have taken place. Even more disappointing I must now contact my bank again and go through the process of cancelling the investigation for lost funds that they are Wotif advised that I started.

Needed to cancel and app wouldn’t work. Couldn’t cancel directly to hotel. Rang Wotif and they couldn’t help me. Told me to ring back in an hour. After discussion they decided they would cancel booking for me and I would hear within the hour. ( really.🤔). Three hours later……… no phone call, fancy that!🤪. I finally managed to cancel booking myself. I understand technical difficulties happen, but they really should have a policy to assist when this happens. Not impressed.😕. Won’t use again. Back to the ever reliable Bookings.com.au
