The website was fine but when I went to pay the price went up $300! I am really sick of companies tracking your searches and doing this because they know that you want to book the trip! It should be illegal!

Just to cancel my accommodation booking, it took me several tries – asking for my last 4 digits of my credit card and nothing happened, conversations ended, don’t know if it is cancelled or not, took my email address. Talking to a virtual agent is hopeless. Doesn’t give you a direct answer.

Not transparent! I booked 2 rooms and chose the FREE CANCELLATION and to PAY AT THE PROPERTY deals. Was asked for my credit card details and clearly stated won’t be charged yet, only needed credit card info to guarantee my bookings. I canceled the bookings on the same day because I found better deals elsewhere. The next day, found out that I have been charged for 1 night stay for both rooms by the hotel. Wotif never mentioned on their website abouth this when I made the bookings.

When contacted wotif, they told me to wait for the refund 7 to 10 days or contact the hotel directly. I contacted the hotel and they said I have to wait 4 to 8 weeks for a refund. What a hassle! Hopefully I can really get my refund. Should have stated that the hotel will charge you 1 night stay to confirm bookings. If I had known then I wouldn’t have made the bookingsthrough you and save myself a lot of troubles.

I booked on line and the booking system kept jumping forward to September. After about 3 attempts I maned to enter my request for August, however the confirmation email reflected September. I then spent 3 hours trying to resolve the issue, I was told there were no Vance’s in Aug, I was told I couldn’t change the dates, I was told many half truths. In frustration I contacted the hotel directly and a very polite lady called Amelia said she could fix it from her end and she did. I was advised by one of your staff that they couldn’t contact the hotel yet I connected immediately. My view is simply this, if I need to ring the hotel die then to sort out the failure of the WOTIF system then on what basis are you charging a booking fee. You should forego your commission and credit the value to my credit card for 3 hours of my time to sort your inability to provide a service. So ehat can you do, update your booking system. I will catch up with Amelia during my week in Albury and make sure she receives a good tip for her part in resolving the issue.

It side on the website $289 for my room I then had to pay $316 for my room not happy and ill not be using this site again
