Very rude service staff. Told them we booked largely in part to use the hottub. Turned up at 5pm and they said it was closed until the morning. The sauna was unavailable at any time. Despite the website saying nothing about it. The booking was for a king size bed and we ended up sleeping on 2 single beds next to each other so there was a very uncomfortable strip right down the centre of the bed. When I spoke to the staff about my concerns, they offered no apology compensation or anything complimentary. They actually left me waiting in the lobby for over 15min so they could go find something “in the fine print” as they put it about the hottub closing times. They truly never came back with any information

Zero customer service except for virtual chat. Prices not competitive so make sure to do your research. Would be good if there’s a 24 hour grace period for change of mind.

No one gets back to me regarding my current booking. A supervisor was apparently going to call which never eventuated. I’m still in the same predicament with no help from this 3rd party site. Shocking service

They were quite understanding about our late arrival, having been delayed by driving conditions; that is the only good thing I can say.
It was very cold that night – temps below 5 degrees. After a long cold drive, through foggy conditions, we were looking forward to a warm room, so when we first entered and noted the dated decor, and glue marks still on the wall where the old beds HAD been, we just dismissed our concern and turned on the heater……and waited……and waited…..when the heater finally started to actually blow some air, (more that 10 minutes later) it barely differed from the ambient air, despite us turning the temp up on the control. So we thought, we’ll just go straight to bed where it will be warm; ONE threadbare, cotton blanket on one of the beds, and ONE grubby old blanket on the other, both topped with a white sheet. The sheet on one of the beds had something brown smudged on it. I looked in the wardrobe for spare bedding, and found only a pillow. Wrinkled and with fresh smudges of mascara on it.
The television didn’t work. Again, I can deal with old, and with cracked tiles, broken skirting boards, with a bit of decay at the ends, but DIRTY and non functional – we would probably have been better off sleeping in swags.
VERY POOR.

I booked, paid and my booking was confirmed. The day afterwards, I received this msg from the host and VRBO.

Very disapointed! Thought I was dealing direct with Wotif so I would have no problems. I have no idea if below is real or she realised an event is on and she could charge more or just badly organised to not fix her password immediately with VRBO or why VRBO still advertised availability with wotif and took money and confirmed booking. Left scrabbling next day to book accom much further to venue, then if I had booked the day before.

The receptionist upon arrival was disgustingly rude.

No where did it state that an additional $200 would be charged and returned 1-2 weeks later.

Room was filthy with stained lounges, and mysterious red water marks on the roof over the bed. The whole hotel has randomly patched holes in the walls but never sanded them and repainted.
