I booked a room that had a flexible reservation policy, however, Wotif has made it very difficult to make a cancellation as it does not have a phone number on their website.

I eventually got the Wotif phone number from the hotel instead. When i called Wotif they said that an email would be sent to me to confirm the cancellation. This never arrived. I then had to call the hotel directly again to confirm that it had in fact been cancelled.

It should not be this difficult. I will book directly with the hotel next time.

I am highly disappointed after calling the proprietor to enquire about the facilities I was told that if I had of booked directly through them the rate would have actually been $40 cheaper. By using your website I have lost $40, your claims of being the cheapest apparently are false, and I will not be booking through you again.

It was disgraceful there was wires hanging out from underneath the cupboard in our room the room that we got was not the room that was advertised and then they tried to charge me an extra $70 for a better room so I had to stay in that room. I messaged the hotel about it and they didn’t want to help or anything

I havent been on my holiday yet so will let you know when I come back,,,but I wanted to tell you that someone posing as Wotif
emailed my daughter( daughter has never had contact with them) so she cancelled the email. Also noticed the Wotif site on the Cairns 188 Esplanade is shown as unsafe so think you should investigate that your site is being hacked. I have confirmation that my accommodation for the Pullman Hotel Cairns is safe but you have taken the full payment out of my card. Would have preferred that you emailed me first. I was assured by the hotel that the amount of $747 will be transferred to them from Wotif when we arrive. If this is not true, please contact me asap URGENTLY as I want to make sure I am not being hacked.

I had problems with the hotel double charging me. The Wotif app didn’t send me a confirmation at all & I haven’t easily been able to get refunded.

This is the absolute worst most difficult frustrating app I have ever used It ignored everything I entered and decided without doubt that I was two adults instead of one adult and 2 kids. Ended up booking direct because the man at the motel was much more helpful
