I did online booking at Alpine Park Cottages which was all approved with credit card details and then i get cancellation email saying there’s no room available for booking dates. I think that’s very unprofessional. Not happy.

I read that there was no cancellation fee. I had to change the date. I was told I had to cancel & rebook & I would lose the full cost of the booking.

SO BAD. BOOKED A NICE HOTEL, PAID $1,600.00 3 X NIGHTS. DROVE 4 X HOURS. TO BE TOLD HA HA ROOM WAS NEVER AVAILABE BUT WE HAVE YOUR MONEY.
MOVED ME TO THE WORST HOTEL EVER ANDSAID HE ITS BETTER. LIE LIE LIE
DROVE HOME 4 X HOURS TO PAY HIGH SEASON RATE FOR HIRE CAR AND PETROL FOR A ROOM DOESN’T EXIST SO WAS A $2,100.00 LOSS DUE TO WOTIF SELLING ME A NON EXISTANT ROOM. WOULD BE NICE IF THEY WOULD RETURN MY MONEY, ASS

My accommodation said free cancellation & also had an option to pay at property which I thought was fantastic but then I checked the next day & they had already debited my account which I was not happy about.

I had been double booked ,now I will deal directly with the service provider instead.

I was shocked to book a hotel room only to turn up and find that i had to pay an extra $45 to park my car there. No mention in the room details section or anywhere on wotif listing that parking would be an additional $45.
This site led me to make a wrong choice and miss out on better alternative deals.

Wotif is affiliated with all the hotels and motels so there’s no point to rate Wotif. The genuine negative feedback I provided 3 months ago for an accommodation I booked went unpunished without any reason provided back to me – what a waste of time…

Wotif charged us 310$ whereas motel receipt says 263$

I booked the hotel for 29 December to 30 december at Queanbeyan Motel, 88 Crawford st. We could not find the Motel, I ring the Motel about three yime, no one answered at the reception. As a result we booked another hotel for the same date at Ibis budget style hotel Canberra. I paid $110 for the one night for the Queanbeyan Motel. I want my money back, It should be refunded to me.

Hotel had never heard of wotif or my booking and had given my room to someone else. 2hrs waiting to checkin because of this. Luckily they found another room at nearby hotel for other guests. Terrible job wotif. 😡
