Total incompetence when coming to canceling a booking I have been charge from wotif and the motel so 2 lots of cancellation fees, NOT Happy !!
January 12, 2019The room I booked was listed has having two beds (which I why I booked it) when confirmation came through it was confirmed as having one bed. Very disappointing

Improve your websites functionality. It took me over 5 hours to finalise my flight booking. There is no easy contact point to help if you have a genuine problem.
January 11, 2019Website failed after payment was made so I was not sent a booking confirmation or itinerary. Called motel they also had no booking for me. Money taken but no booking.
January 10, 2019Not a happy customer I phoned several times to your company and tried to go on line and was told by your staff system had crashed on Tuesday night and there was no record of my booking which we waited our card details for payment and received no communication or response back

The process of cancelling and modifying bookings is terrible. I wanted to decreased my length of stay from 3 nights to 2 nights, but was told that this was not possible because the hotel didn’t have any rooms available. If I was extending my stay, this would make sense. However, given that I wanted to shorten my stay, this explanation is nonsensical. I was told that wotif need to have a spare room available in order to make changes. If that is the case, the wotif software clearly needs updating.
In the end, after several long phone calls, wotif and the hotel organised a manual modification to our travel dates. However, wotif were unable to provide written modification of these changes, and advised me to contact the hotel directly. Still, our itinerary on wotif has not been updated, so I am relying on email correspondence via the hotel in this instance.
There was a lot of back-and-forth with wotif suggesting I contact the hotel for help, and the hotel suggesting I contact wotif.
Ultimately, using wotif has been made the process of booking a hotel much more inconvenient than if I booked with the hotel directly, and the process up making modifications to a booking desparately needs an update.
Based on this experience, I am very unlikely to book with wotif again.
January 10, 2019The itinerary number referenced in the email is not the same as my booking. I received 2 text messages confirming different bookings, one was for a cancelled booking informing me that I have a that booking.
I am totally confused!
