Extremely bad experience with wotif. I will never use wotif again or recommend it to my friends

This company should be sued for deceptive and misleading advertising. They are definately not the cheapest way to book my accommodation.

i chose the Ibis Hotel Entrance for a 1 night stay. I selected no breakfast standard room at $121.000 and also selected pay later. I believe the pay later opyion must have negated my no breakfast option. I was asked to pay $138.00 on arrival and tried to say that was not the option I selected, but the receptionist and I figured out that by chooing the pay later option this request was negated. I did not eat the breakfast as I find the RSL restaurant attached to the hotel depressing, and prefer a coffee ( barista made) from a cafe. I am cross as the option I selected was negated. I asked the hotel for their direct number to book rooms as I although I find Wotif convenient and easy, my booking is not what I thought it would be.

I have used your service to once book a hotel room while traveling from Melbourne to Sydney to see my sick sister who is receiving treatment for cancer.
My return was delayed because of her unexpected reaction to her chemotherapy treatment.Making it impossible to keep my reservation in Goulburn. I spoke both to your office at wotif and through the hotel to your office and it was a big NO, not possible.

if that is your feelings on the matter. I will never use you again and tell as many people as possible not to use your service as it is selfish and totally inconsiderate of people and their life situations.
Booking mucked up. Cancelled a booking received confirmation of cancellation. Then received confirmation of booking. Rang and spokw to customer service hopefully they can sort out as I rebooked, then received confirmation offering upgrade of $29. Accepted via email. Customer service have no record of upgrade offer or of my confirmation. So annoyed

The booking that ended up being confirmed was not the booking I had been making. I was intent on booking the last of a 2 bedroom apartment that slept 3 people for $188.00. My recollection was that it was split level perhaps?
What ended up being confirmed was a single room apartment that slept 2 for $199.00
The booking was made possibly 10mins before we arrived at the apartment. The Reception informed us that the confirmation was for the $199.00 room and there were no more $188.00 apartments available.
I cant help but think we were duped and were told by Adina Apartments that it was the 3rd Party Booking Agency whom we needed to take up this dispute with. (Wotif)

Make sure they send their confirmation emails
Have the correct telephone number for the hotel
Not take 15 minutes for someone to understand your email address

It was very bad, I didn’t even receive a tax invoice for the payment that I had paid . I am not going to use wotif again, since I had a very bad experience.

Never book tickets through Wotif..You will end up paying more..
I have booked the tickets, through Wotif, in a Singapore airline flight. However, airline charged extra for seat allocation,which is not a normal practice for Singapore airlines if booked directly or by other agencies.
