Then you couldn’t refund our money for 72 business hours, which means our holiday money was spent on 2nd flights.
Absolute worst holiday ever.
We are so very stressed.
Yep – refund my payment . I’ve lost $500. There was a glitch on the booking software / the dates were wrong.

March 11, 2019I’ve never had a problem booking with Wotif/Expedia before but after booking tickets, the Wotif/Expedia system sent an abbreviated version of my daughter’s name on our booking to the airline, so her name didn’t match up with what was on her passport. Even though the correct name was on Wotif’s receipt AND the Wotif itinerary, they insisted I scan and email to them the identifying passport page. I objected to this – my argument was that I didn’t need a passport to book the flights, AND the correct name was on their system, so they should fix it. I even sent screenshots of the correct name on the Wotif receipt/itinerary.
Very frustrating that all “customer support” staff stuck to the same dialogue and insisted I scan and email the passport. It took so long getting nowhere, with about six identical emails from Wotif and as many phone calls with staff sticking to the same dialogue. I eventually scanned the passport but blocked out the passport number and barcode at the bottom (Wotif had specified they required the barcode details. The airline finally accepted the scan with the barcode blocked out so I guess it wasn’t a requirement after all). Very dissatisfied with Wotif/Expedia’s cookie-cutter responses and them putting it back on me to fix their problem.
March 11, 2019I made a mistake with the booking intending to book two rooms for September and accidentally getting February dates. I immediately phoned the motel to cancel and was referred to Wotif.
I then spoke with Mansoor at the call centre and explained the problem. He called the motel to get the OK to cancel and issued two cancellation confirmations on Itinery# 7413370628243. The cancellations came through by email while I was on the phone with Mansoor and when I questioned the $99 dollar cancellation fee per room he advised that this would not be charged.
I then rebooked on the September dates with Wotif
I was extremely upset to find that I had been charged $768 by Wotif on the 18 of February. I have disputed this through my credit card supplier Westpac Bank.
March 11, 2019After ripping me off twice I used my ‘goodwill’ coupon to stay at a hotel.
Wotif rang me on the day of a planned stay at a hotel last year and said my booking was cancelled.
I made the booking several months in advance as a pressie for my pregnant wife to celebrate us having success after years of IVF treatment.
8 hours of back and forth in the phone, I finally said that I would be showing up at the hotel with my wife.
They then put me into someone in authority who offered me any accomodation up to $570.
When I went to claim that offer I was once again ripped off by this scam business.
Another 4 hours on the phone and I got a $150 coupon.
Now you ask for a review.
How about you pricks stop hijacking the hotel/travel business and have some customer service.

March 10, 2019Because I was unable to get a refund when my plans changed. Booking.com hasn’t given me a problem.
March 10, 2019We have a complaint with the booking site we booked an apartment at Mills Park in Victoria, carefully checking the dates (in 14th out on the 15th March) and somehow the reservation defaulted to check in on the 8th and out on the 9th. We didnt realize the dates were wrong until i got a text message on the 9th the day after we should have checked out.
Now we not only dont have any accommodation for tge 15th March but we have also had to pay for a room we didnt book.
Not happy with this site, I dont understand how that can happen when you carefully check the details.
We are travelling to Victoria from Tasmania. And dont leave till next Thursday the 14th.
Can anyone assist us in a refund?
