The issues I had checking in were taken care off expeditiously. Internet was restored and I was shown how the TV in this part of the world worked. Thanks to Larry who was so knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest activities for us which made the whole trip enjoyable.

good value for money
The quality of the service made up for the rather eccentric room design: no bathroom storage space and a toilet door which didn’t fit it’s frame. The location was good and was perfect for a relaxing few days is the great town of Swakopmund.

not happy!
We arrived at Burning Shore for our prebooked - prepaid accomodation over Xmas holidays - only to find it closed and without any notice on the door. When we phoned we were told the hotel was closed for renovations- and that they had not received our booking or payment ( clearly confirmed in hotels.com) ...
