Authentic farmhouse at 1030 metres above sea level in the Simmental in the Bernese Alps. Perfect for peace and relaxation. The farmhouse has a TIBA wood-burning cooker in the kitchen, which also heats the sandstone stove in the parlour. In order to enjoy the cosy warmth in the house, a fire must be lit and wood added so that the fire in the cooker does not go out. The house has no central heating! There are electric radiators in the bedrooms.
On the ground floor: kitchen, living room, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower / WC On the upper floor: lounge, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with washbasin / WC The upper floor is only accessible from the outside, no internal access. Rooms on the upper floor low, 175 - 180 cm.
The access to the house is on the last 250 metres on a quite steep partly gravel road, in winter it can happen that you can only get to the house on foot. Perfect winter equipment is highly recommended (4x4 / winter tyres / snow chains).
Region for: Winter sports, skiing, cross-country skiing summer sports, hiking, biking and much more. 20 minutes by car to Gstaad or Lenk. Travellers arriving by train, transfer to property on request by landlord.
