I’m reviewing based on their bedroom layout. Their bed is setup against the wall on one side and so it’s ridiculous for one person to get out while the partner is sleeping. So one negative review that I would like to highlight so management would take my feedback as a client.

Nice place

The check in was excellent. But going to the room on the 4th floor, there was many stains on the carpet floor that gave me the impression that the room would be dirty. But the room was exceptionally clean. A nice little kitchen. Although the concrete ceiling gave it an unfinished feel. The queen bed against the wall was inconvenient to get in and out of. All the staff were excellent. I would highly recommend.

I’m very disappointed — I never expected to find bugs in the room. I’ve taken a picture as evidence. When I went to reception around 11:15pm, they were busy checking in new guests, so I wasn’t able to get assistance at the time. I’ve been unable to sleep all night as I’m worried there may be more bugs in the room. This is completely unacceptable, and I would appreciate it if you could address this issue urgently.

Need to take bus from the main station but only took me about 15 mins. Walking about 5 mins from bus stop to hotel. No phone in the room. Self service if you need extra beverages.

Not the best stay we experienced.

The rooms do not have an intercom or phone. If you have an issue with the room, you have to go all the way to the front desk to get any help. The airconditioning was not enough. It didnt cool as it should. We complained but there was not much that could be done.

The hotel has a great location, very convenient for exploring Zurich. However, there are a few things that could be improved. First, unlike many nearby hotels, there’s no shuttle service from the airport, which was disappointing. At check-in, my first room had a strange smell, but when I went to the lobby, the staff kindly moved me to another room. That was handled well, though I was surprised the rooms don’t have phones, which makes it difficult to communicate with reception. The layout of the hotel is also confusing. There are many doors and areas to navigate, and during checkout we got lost. We pressed the reception button on the elevator, expecting to reach the lobby, but it took us straight into a kitchen, where we had to ask for help to find our way out. Better signage and clearer directions would make a big difference, as well as ensuring elevators lead directly to the lobby. Breakfast was another downside—it’s very expensive, especially for someone only staying a short time. On a positive note, the receptionist from Greece (unfortunately I forgot his name) was outstanding. His customer service was excellent and he really made me feel welcomed.
