About this property
Family Garden Apartment | Patio, Free Parking
## Space
Sand gets tracked in through the patio door and that is exactly what this apartment is for. Sixty square metres on one level, with the outdoor space doing the work a garden does: breakfast outside, wet swimsuits on the line, somewhere to sit once the children are asleep.
The bedroom holds a queensize bed. The bunk bed stands in its own alcove off the kitchen, open to the room rather than behind a door, so the children sleep in their own corner instead of beside their parents. The bunk is sized for children rather than adults. Next to the bathroom there is a separate toilet, which with four people in the house counts for more than it sounds.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher and a washing machine, and it opens onto a combined lounge and dining area with room for four to eat properly. The apartment has its own entrance. Heating is central, adjusted from the thermostat.
## Access
The whole apartment and the patio are yours during your stay:
★ Bedroom with a queensize bed, plus a separate open alcove with the bunk bed
★ Bunk bed with two 90 by 200 places, sized for children
★ Bathroom with shower, plus a separate toilet
★ Patio with outdoor seating
★ Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine
★ Private entrance
★ Private parking space in Secretaris Bosmanstraat, included
★ Wifi and television
★ Linen and towels provided
★ Self check-in with a keybox in the garden, beside the entrance to the alley
➤ The bunk bed is not suitable for adults, so the layout works for two adults with two children rather than four adults.
➤ No smoking indoors; the patio is fine. Pets are not permitted.

## Neighborhood
Zandvoort is a busy North Sea beach town 30 minutes from Amsterdam, known for its wide sandy beach, the Circuit Zandvoort, and lively summer atmosphere. It gets busy in peak season: parking is limited and the beach fills up fast, but the dune walks and beach clubs make it worth the crowds.
Sandrinastraat is a quiet side street in the centre, two minutes on foot from the beach and the same from the supermarket, which matters more than it sounds when you are carrying a windbreak and four ice creams. Beachclub Thalassa on Boulevard Barnaart has a playground and a large terrace and does the best fish in town, which makes it the easiest dinner of the week with children.
## Transit
Zandvoort aan Zee station is about six minutes on foot. Haarlem is 10 minutes by train, Amsterdam Centraal around 30 minutes, usually with a change in Haarlem. Schiphol is roughly 40 minutes by train. By car, Haarlem is 15 minutes and Amsterdam about 35.
## Notes
➤ Check-in from 16:00 to 22:00. Keybox in the garden beside the entrance to the alley; code in your Rental Valley guide, sent 7 days before arrival. Early check-in is subject to same-day availability, contact us on arrival day to check, though this is limited in peak season.
➤ Check-out by 10:00. Late check-out is subject to next-day availability, contact us the day before departure to check. Limited in peak season.
