Die Anlage besteht aus mehreren Häusern mit Ferienwohnungen, ist aber nicht zu groß und daher ruhig. Ideal ist die Lage direkt am Strand, wo man während des Aufenthalts einen Schirm und 2 Liegen bekommt. Der Strand selber ist feiner Kies, sehr sauber, das Wasser klar und schimmert türkis. Alternativ gibt es einen Pool. Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet, viele Pflanzen, teilweise wird noch gepflanzt und eine Poolbar errichtet. Je nach Lage der Wohnung kann man direkt am Haus parken oder auf dem großen Parkplatz innerhalb der Anlage. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, man findet alles, was man braucht, außen Terrasse oder Balkon mit Möbeln. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Ort selber sind viele Hotelanlagen nebeneinander, es gibt wenige Restaurants (fußläufig), aber in der näheren Umgebung wird man immer fündig, günstige Preise und eine kurze Fahrt mit dem Auto, was man auf jeden Fall haben sollte. Große Supermärkte sind ca. 12 Minuten Fahrt entfernt. Trooea kann man auch vom nahe gelegenen Bahnhof Zambrone mit der Regionalbahn in wenigen Minuten erreichen. Einziges Manko: kein Wifi, nur unmittelbar an der Rezeption, ab und an viel auch das Mobilfunknetz (O2) tageweise aus (kein Verschulden des Hoteliers).
