Attractions and Hotels Near Yulgye-ri

Don't be a drongo and leave without enjoying the other fascinating attractions in South Jeolla. Check out the castles, traditional villages and old towns in South Jeolla, or simply take in the area's lovely beaches, coastal plains, rivers and mountains. Common activities in this part of South Korea include mountain climbing and hiking.

The close by cities of Buk-gu and Chukpun are certainly worth checking out. Buk-gu is 35 kilometres to the north of Yulgye-ri, while Chukpun is 45 kilometres to the northwest. Buk-gu accommodations include the New Gwangju Guesthouse and Geumsoojang Tourist Hotel. The DOZON HOTEL and Shinsung Hotel are some of the choices in Chukpun.

Before you say "see ya later" to South Jeolla, make sure you experience some sport. Find Guus Hiddink Stadium to the northwest of Yulgye-ri. The Ramada Plaza Gwangju and the Firenze Hotel are near all the action.

Gwangju International Airport is the most convenient airport for arriving in Yulgye-ri and is 35 kilometres drive from the heart of town. If you plan to stay nearby, try the Hotel France or the Noblesse Hotel.
