An Excellent Experience

Pros: The ryokan has a great history and many of the original details are preserved. The food was great too, the staff took the time to explain each dish.
Cons: The garden was in a state of disrepair, which is a shame as my room had a very expansive view of it. However the interior was in perfect condition.
Location: It is a pretty decent walk to the neares main station, however the location is also quite close to the beach.
I stayed at the Kitaya Ryokan for two days and it was a lovely experience. It was a little tricky to get to, and required a short walk from the train station. However the building itself is lovely and has a very long history. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and tolerant of foreigners.
