Disgusting, Deplorable & Dusturbing Conditions Unsanitary conditions, appallingly filthy dump. I was slightly uncomfortable with the exterior of the property, but I tried to keep an open mind and not judge the book by the cover. However, as the front desk clerk spoke to me with a "yes" instead of a greeting such as welcome or how may I assist you. The bad feeling in my gut intensified. I was shown to a nasty and gross room that seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in years - complete with cob webs. I called and told them that they needed to change the room because I would not be staying in it. He asked why and I told him that the room wasn't clean - he said, I don't know how, because it was prepared for you. Ooh really, with the dirt clearly visible across every surface and cobwebs, too? Nice touch, but I must decline. So, I was moved to another room which turned out to be worst - the toilet and bathtub was outside with insects and the elements having easy access to you. Not to mention the privacy and safety implications. Also, there was a septic odor coming from somewhere in the "bathroom", it was disgusting. At night there are no security or front desk staff, so there are potential safety conditions at night.

This is not international five star but it’s comfortable, quiet (cannot year the street (at least of your room is in the block furthest from the road) and above all it has a local interesting thoughtful charm to the design, fixtures and furnishings that feels more local than the more generic global designs that could be in any city. The showers are not great (lacks power and takes while for hot water to come through) and the hotel reception area looks a bit tired but overall it made for a better memory than most hotels which I do value. Plus the beds were comfy, the Aircon worked well and they had nice mosquito netting over the beds (although rooms cam sealed shut). Recommend upstairs rooms as they have nice balconies and more privacy.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel and highly recommend it. It's the ultimate place to unwind, an oasis of calm close to the town and not too far from the tourist attractions. Each member of staff in every area of the hotel is excellent, and customer service is outstanding. A fantastic place to stay.

This hotel was definitely a memorable experience in Yogyakarta. The reception area was less than impressive when we checked in, but this was offset by the friendly receptionist and the way she welcomed us.... fast forward to entering the main hotel area! We were blown away by the details and amazingly nature based sets of the hotel..... so much of personalization and details, it was simply amazing! Food was alright, nothing exceptional, but again, this was offset by the friendly staff who were so very accommodating and helpful. There is a really huge supermarket next door to supplement your food needs. Overall, an A++ to this gem!

We checked in at 9am and the room was ready! This was welcome after a 3:30 am start to our day. Our room was spectacular with a beautiful veranda in which to enjoy the garden and pool area. There was a travel assistant on site at all times to help you perfect your travel plans.

Geweldig hotel, het paradijsje van de vakantie

Geweldig hotel met fantastisch personeel, geweldig zwembad met aangrenzend restaurant. De kamers zijn helemaal een feest, heerlijk hemelbed met romantisch balkon die tussen de uitkijkt op het zwembad (zonder zelf in het zicht te zitten) en een heerlijk ruime badkamer. Enige minuscule minpuntje is dat het lang duurt voordat het douchewater warm is.

Had a great stay at Dusun Jogja Village Inn. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and kind. The room is spacious and clean.The breakfast buffet is superb, although my lunch at the restaurant was somewhat disappointing. All in all, would definitely recommend!
