Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden.. Inside, the open-plan living area centres on a superb wood burner, giving you a snug place to return after exploring. There is dedicated cycle store and surfboard/canoe storage, handy for bringing your own gear on active breaks. From Dousland you can head out onto Dartmoor for walking and cycling, or follow paths around nearby Burrator Reservoir. Within easy walking distance there are four pubs, all serving food. A fifteen minute walk takes you to a small shopping area with a garage, Post Office, CO-OP, chemist, coffee shops and cafes.
