While the area around the hotel itself is slightly out of the way, it's not too far from the city centre and main trainstation, which made it convenient for our needs. Good value for money.

Fine hotel.

Good location. Be sure to ask for a room not on the south part of the building unless it is on the sixth floor. The south view a a big gray wall. The other views are great. Sixth floor south is great. Good breakfast, clean, friendly. Bathroom a little small and not a lot of electrical plugs.

Functional hotel, 10-15 min walk from old center. We had rooms with nice river views. Slight issue with check in but hotels.com customer service fixed it. Nice staff.

Very clean- as you would expect with Ibis. Quite a basic room tho. Solid wifi. Covid precautions with mask, gloves & sanitizer at breakfast. Food was ok -the lounge looks out onto the river with the scenic fortress/castle on the hill. The hotel is a 15 mins walk into town & 15 to the train station OR the bus 9 which runs only every 30 mins. This bus will also take you up to the fortress. Decent hotel. 8/10.

Good hotel close to old town

The hotel is in a good location just a short walk along the river to the old town.Lots of free car parks within walking distance.The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast looked good but we did not have to try it

Ideal place to stay!

From the moment I arrived the staff were impeccable ! Polite and very helpful with the questions I asked them, nothing was too much trouble. I was given a splendid room with a view to die for, Totally amazing! Only 15 minutes walk to where I needed to be. A gem of a City too with beautiful surroundings , also stunning views, I would definitely recommend it!

Nice hotel, good location, but loud at night

The reason to stay at this hotel is the location. It is conveniently located near the downtown area and parking next to the hotel in the public parking site was easy, although it costs 9 euro. The first night we slept with the window open which kept the room cool, but between 2-4 pm there was a steady flow of loud drunk people walking back to the nearby train station. If you are going to be one of the loud drunk people walking back, then this is your hotel :) The second night we slept with the window closed and didn't hear any of the noise. We like it cold and the AC did work but it is fairly weak compared to US standards. The breakfast was good but crowded, so seating was a little difficult to find. We still enjoyed the trip and visiting Wuerzburg, so the hotel worked as needed.
