We asked at reception what time Breakfast was open the following morning for the August Bank Holiday Monday as we needs to set off early. We were told 6.30am so planned around that only to be told next morning at the restaurant it was 7.30am which messed up our travel plans.

lovely hotel

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. We got there late at night and had to leave early in the morning, so didn't get to use any of their amenities, but breakfast was good (with good options) and room fridge was stocked with beer! Check in and check out were very smooth and quick. A bit on the expensive side. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again (at a lower rate though!)

A lovely, comfortable hotel.

Very friendly reception staff. Extremely comfortable bed. Walls are a little thin, especially when there are little kids running around above, but that's hotels in general for you, earplugs are always on hand. Food was lovely, and plenty of gluten free options, even pie which is a very rare find. Not had time to try the spa. I'd stay again if I was in the area.

Good and bad experience. The good, the restaurant food and staff were fantastic, shout out to them for a great all round great job. The bad, the room. Poor soundproofing (could hear my neighbours), broke tiles in the bathroom, unclean toilet, unclean bath, chemical/musty smell in the room. Won’t stay again.
