I enjoy staying at Redwing lodge, staff are always very friendly. I like the fact there's no rush to drink up if you come back late from a night out and fancy a pint . Also breakfast is enough for everyone taste

Hotel was average and what I'd expect for a basic travelodge in a city centre. Good parking availability (£5 per day additional charge), room was clean and had all the essentials. Communal carpets were heavily stained (?blood ?coffee ?poo), and the reception staff at check in were MISERABLE....as if they hate their jobs and customers are an inconvenience, not even a smidgen of a smile on arrival. Aside from that I have no complaints, bed comfortable enough, hot water in the shower, loo roll was replenished and bins were emptied.

Check in was quick and efficient and signs and clear room numbers made finding the way around the hotel easy. The room didn't smell too pleasant when I first arrived so I had to open the window to let some fresh air in. The carpet looked worn and had burn marks and stains on it and the white chair in the room was dirty looking. Despite the busy road outside, the room was reasonably quiet so I got a good nights sleep even though the mattress on the bed was far from great. The en-suite bathroom however was much better than the rest of the room. Clean with a great shower and quality towels. Great location with only a short walk to Wolverhampton city centre and a few minutes away from the football ground.

The hotel is ok if you’re going for one night, staff are friendly, there’s room service until the early hours, however rooms are dated and the beds are very uncomfortable, if you suffer with a bad back this isn’t the place for you.
