It was a great stay, the only item that wasn’t working was the air conditioner, and I don’t think it was just my room. But they did supply a fan that was already in the wardrobe.

Hotel overbooked so gave our room away! Eventually a room was found to be free but had been slept and possibly used as a staff refreshment room. Bathroom was filthy, towels missing, aircon broken, and carpet torn. The check in staff seemed to have little concern!! Just arrived back and will be raising the issue with the general manager

We stayed at this hotel as it was convenient to where we were going, initially the room was fine but due to a very large wedding there seemed to be not enough staff to attend normal guests. We asked for our room to be moved to a quieter part of the hotel which the receptionist did without question so could not fault her at all. Lovely property but think if they have an event going on they should advise other customers beforehand as we would not have stayed here had we known

Not enough staff on reception to check in and out. Swimming pool closed for the whole of our stay and we chose this hotel because of the pool. No one answering room service as too busy and again not enough staff. Had to go to the restaurant to order room service then they wanted me to pay £5 tray fee even though I had to go there myself!

Mostly positive stay
The rooms and lounge area were plenty comfortable and staff were very friendly here. My main issue was the noise level across the hotel. Perhaps I was just unlucky with my room but the walls were very thing and my room had a shared door (which was locked of course) but the next room was very audible both throughout the evening and early in the morning. This meant for a disturbed sleep unfortunately. I found the food at the restaurant rather expensive and ended up opting for a burger (which was the cheapest option at £22) and it was nothing special for the price.

Not worth the money!!
First of all swimming pool was closed!! What a bad start anyway got 15% off the booking price as no pool. Got to rooms worst mattress ive ever slept on!! The windows wont open as the winder was broken!! Breakfast wasnt as good as i expected from this hotel not much variety. Overall wouldn't stay here. Best thing about the hotel was the complimentary drinks and late 2pm checkout as we weren't happy at start about the pool!!

We stayed for one night, cannot fault the room the beds were comfortable and overall the cleanliness was to high standard. We had our two children with us but it wasn’t very child friendly we ended up going out for dinner as the menu was over priced and a very limited selection. The children also had limited time slots in which they were welcome at the pool given by reception but these times didn’t match the times given by the spa staff. Breakfast on the other hand was fantastic value well catered for all! The staff were great also all very welcoming!

When checking in, reception tried to charge me even I have already paid. I said I paid but they insisted that I didn’t and told me as I have not paid they cannot check me in unless I pay (again). Took like 10 mins for them to double check & no apologies once finds out I already paid. It was horrible experience with 2 kids waiting unhappy and mom arguing with them. There was her colleague next to her but he didnt even tried to help checking. I booked halfboad, after dinner at the restrant they again tried to charge me full amount so I had to say that I have booked half board even I already said I did when booking for restaurant for dinner. Kids were excited to going back to pool in the morning but it was closed

Pleasant enough hotel in lovely wooded grounds but a little tired and scuffed round the edges. Pleasant staff, but pool was unavailable most of the time over our two day stay. Lack of towels or mat for bathroom floor
