My family and I recently stayed at the Polynesian and we really enjoyed ourselves. Now, it’s not the newest or the fanciest resort but they are taking strides to update the entire resort. It’s “under construction” if you will, but some of the indoor and outdoor pools were open to public some were not. Some rooms have microwaves some do not. Some rooms you are not allowed to open your balcony door because of renovations however they are very accommodating. Most of the staff don’t really speak good English but they are very polite and will try to be helpful. I have this thing where I want to visit a different resort every time I go to Wisconsin Dells so I probably won’t stay there again soon but I definitely would stay there again ☺️ oh, the only thing I literally had an issue with was the fact that my balcony door would not lock properly either. I was on the first floor so a little unsafe but yeah. Keep up the renovations Polynesian.

This place should be torn down that's how bad it is. Indoor water park is used for a storage unit, untapped maintenance outside around the pools. Only one kiddie pool open. Sliding doors to each of the rooms are screwed shut. Balcony word is molded and ready to break. Wallpaper falling off with mold behind it. And the employee walkway crumbs and leftover paper all over the place not being vacuumed for months it looked like. Don't try to call them because it is impossible to reach them voicemail is always full. No one picks up the phone. Pictures on website are completely deceiving and not true to what the resort looks like. Stay away from this place!! Absolutely

The resort definitely needs more TLC. The room was very clean however the rest of the resort needed a lot of maintenance. The outdoor waterpark was not fully functional. The lazy river was closed down. The indoor waterpark had one water slide working and the kiddo's pool area was closed off. They also had half the lights inside the waterpark shut off. The carpet all over the resort except in the suite was old and dirty. Not a bad choice for what I paid but would definitely get more customers if a little more TLC was given.

Room was so gross A/C had chunks of nastyness hanging from it! Mold in refrigerator! A clump of hair left in shower! When you pull up at the property it looks ABANDONED nothing has been fixed or maintained in at least 10 plus years! False advertising for sure. I will be sure to tell family friends and anyone going to Wisconsin Dells to stay away from The Polynesian Hotel from Hell!

Baby Roaches of the Polynesian hotel

My family vacation was ruined by the Polynesian Hotel & hotel.com because when we checked into the room, we went to put our bags down. There was a roach crawling up the wall. Make a very long story shorts. The Polynesian manager was willing to give me 100% of my refund back. That was very nice of him. But not only did the place look deserted and ran down but I’ve been fighting with hotel.com to get my money back because they are refusing to give me my refund back since last Thursday because they’re saying they can’t get a hold of the Polynesian hotel & they refused to give me a refund on my stay at the polynesian from hotels.com. I found it very sad that I was stuck in another state with my family obviously not gonna stay at the Polynesian hotel because they have roaches because I’m not bringing roaches to my house. I’ve been getting the run around and fighting with hotel.com trying to get my refund back. This is so unprofessional, when I have proof from the hotel, willing to give my money back, but it’s hotel.com giving me the problem. when clearly you could see in the pictures put the Polynesian gave me paperwork stating they are giving me 100% of my refund but hotel.com doesn’t wanna honor it and this is very unprofessional and this family vacation was the not only a stranded family on a hell vacation trip!!

This whole trip was an awful experience. The hitel was very dirty. The rooms smelled like weed. The bathroom door didnt shut. The kids Waterpark was coated in muck. There were no signs for room navigation ir pool hours. We checked out a day early and they wouldnt rulefund us for the time we didnt stay for. Highly would not recommend.

This was our 1st stay here. The property needs some work outside and inside. The hallways smell, new carpet is needed. Our initial room A/C wasn’t working, and they moved us to a different room with no hesitation. I would hope some renovations are in the works. This place has so much potential to be great!

Went to the dells for my grandsons baseball tournament. We left early and came back late but room was clean and bed very comfortable. Will come back. They had a very nice pool for babies and it was not busy my baby grandson had it all to him self

Very Cheap Motel Waterpark. Polynesian has not been updated in 20 years. No vending machines, no laundry facilities, no 24/7 maintenance, no breakfast, no kitchen, and rude hotel manager. The owner(s) are only out to make money and obviously do not care about the property or hotel guests experience. Gift shopping is very expensive in Wisconsin Dells avoid T-Shirt Factory on Broadway very rude employees, plenty of good restaurants around but they all close very early.

Not so satisfied… but nice inside of rooms

Outside is not so appealing. Needs landscaping, paint or pressure wash… looks old and run down. Especially outside pool area. Outside lazy River was not accessible or clean. Upon arriving front desk agent did not tell us where the indoor pool, kids pool and okay are and lazy River were located nor were signs posted to let people know. Had to ask or walk the far back side of property to find out location. Otherwise, you’d never know cause it’s not in plain sight from outside pool areas. The room was nice and clean, looks newly renovated. No complaints about the room overall.
