Checking in was seamless. Went to our room to get kids snd dogs settled, as i needed to do some work i quickly checked the beds and fridge, bathroom appeared clean... plugged my laptop in, logged into the wifi and started workinqn the window ledge. Grossed out i went to the bathroom to wash my hands, i then went to the bathroom and happened to see a gummy shark stuck on the wall above the door in the bathroom. I called down to the desk and advised them of everything. Michael took the call and came up right away. They took pictures and said they would let cleaning staff know. Fast-forward ro the next day, TV wasnt working properly so had to call down for help, it was fixed, explained my issues with the cleanliness as i had expected them to send someone from housekeeping up to at least tidy up what they missed. She said "because it was booked through hotels.com there was nothing that could be done for us" which i do not believe was right as they could have given a gift certificate for a discount on next stay or even upgraded our room for free and put us in a clean room.
On the plus side, the breakfast was good, the soup was good, and staff were friendly.
