The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept on in a while. It was quiet at night. The location is perfect for visiting UNCW and also great proximity to the shopping and restaurants in the area. My only gripe was that the parking spaces were very tight but it was still a great stay.

The staff was really helpful and nice. It was also clean and smelled good. The hotel is just old and there was only one elevator working. Overall the trip was good.

The room and bathrooms were very clean and the beds and linens were comfortable. My only complaint is that the room always felt damp; the carpet was damp, all of my belonging were damp, even my Kindle had condensation on it when I woke up in the morning. Thankfully we kept our beds made when we weren't in them so the sheets didn't feel damp.

It was convenient to where we needed to be for our pool tournament. The hallways on 2rd floor smelt like urine and were warm not cool and refreshing at all. The elevator didn't work and when it did it moved very slow. And at one point only one worked. Myself and my guest waied a while for the elevator and ended up walking the steps to the 3rd floor. My guest struggles with some issues health issues so this wasn't an easy task. We will be returning here again the weekend of June 20-22. Considering staying somewhere else because for the price considered to other places. We would expect better. Also during the breakfast hours we were in need of some syrup and went to ask and one of the ladies were on the phone so at first she ignored me then got someone else to get it. I dropped my cup and she was standing beside me andnot once offered to help me clean it up.
