Comfortable and Welcoming

Welcome respite after a long day at the Penn State football game. They accommodated our late check-in. Very friendly staff; comfortable room; nice bathroom. I would suggest more attention to cleanliness regarding vacuuming carpets. It was difficult to see entrance onto the property at night. I would suggest a lit sign at entrance to road. Too easy to miss the turn and end up back on 80 unintentionally.

The lobby is the best part of the hotel. We got a suite, beds clunked when you moved due to damaged box springs, shower clogged, refrigerator was leaking and overall not cleaned well.

I came in with realistic expectations—at a 2-star hotel, all I really want is a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a clean room. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t deliver. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—honestly, a cot would have been better. On top of that, the room itself was not clean, which immediately made the experience disappointing. If the basics can’t be met, it’s hard to recommend this property, even at the budget level.

The beds had stains on the outer covers there was a clothes hanger shoved in the window to keep it from opening. At 1230 am a car alarm started going off outside my window and continued for several hours despite calling the front desk 11 times. There was a phone in the room went to pick it up no connection no cord just a phone. The shower had green stuff growing in it.. very unpleasant experience.

Needs improvement.

Staff was efficient and friendly. Room (2 queens) was disappointing and in dire need of updating. Stains on one comforter, the other bed sounded like banging on a pipe with any movement, and bar to hold toilet paper was actually missing! Housekeeping must have seen this and the stains! Literally all of the hallway doors had paint missing. We stayed here last year, and our room was wonderful, so this experience was a disappointing surprise to us. All that said, staff was great, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great (and very clean area). Worth giving another try in hopes of improvement.

Hotel upkeep has declined

We have stayed here mutiple times traving to PSU football games. The condition of the hotel upkeep has declined. Cracked walls in hallways, cracked tiles in bathrooms, dirty and scuffed up doors, very scary and out of date elevator, holes in bath towels, dust and dirt on fixtures, artwork. Espically the cob webs on the wooden globe sitting on the long breakfast table. Extremely unappetizing. Breakfast selection did not have any protein options(ex. Hard boiled eggs, sausage) Not very good options for people who would prefer healthier options. Breakfast consisted of bread, bagles, muffins, apples, oranges, waffles, cereal, yogurt and beverages. Majority carbs and sugars. The one bright spot was the guest service associate who checked us in. She was infomative with the layout of the hotel and the easiest way to access our rooms. Let us know how to operate the accessibility door. And gave great suggestions to local restaurants.

The carpet in the room was musty and smelly...the shower curtain was moldy and was installed too high so water went all over the floor making it dangerous. The carpets all NEED to be removed from the rooms! Gross and Old .
