Our spacious and private Villa Dushi Bida is an original build Caribbean house with high ceilings and beautiful shutters on all windows providing both safety and opportunity to bring in the cooling winds. The exterior offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy the lovely weather, for instance by the pool or relax in your hammock. Enjoy the dushi bida (the good life) in Curacao!

The villa consists of:

• A spacious living room with dining area, seating area with flatscreen TV and ceiling fan;

• A fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals and get a cold drink. The kitchen includes: pans, crockery & cutlery, five-burner gas stove, large fridge / freezer, plenty of storage, microwave-oven, electric kettle and coffee maker;

• Master bedroom with comfortable queen-sized bed (1,60x2,00 meter), air-conditioning, ceiling fan, 2 build-in closets and a small safe deposit box to store your laptop, passport etc.

• 2 more bedrooms, both with 2 single beds (0,90x2,00 meter), air-conditioning, ceiling fan and build-in closet. One of the bedrooms has its own sink;

• Good sized bathroom with sink, toilet and shower (including hot water);

• There is a second, exterior bathroom next to the pool, with sink, toilet, shower and washer machine. Ideal to use while relaxing by the pool;

• The front porch with ocean view is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast, take a little nap in the hammock after returning from a day at the beach or enjoy a drink at sunset;

• To the side of the villa lays the terrace with sun shading palapa and private pool. Relax by the pool on the sunbeds and enjoy a great meal from the BBQ;

• With 2 parking spaces behind the gate your (rental) car is parked safely and privately.

Location:
The villa is situated on a hill at a cul-de-sac in the tranquil local neighborhood ‘Planterrust’. The location offers privacy and a relaxing tropical feeling, being surrounded by ocean view and greenery. You’ll enjoy hearing the birds sing and don’t be surprised by a visit of a iguana or two.

Ideal of this location is that you can find your rest at home while still being at a super strategic location on the island between downtown, Piscadera and the road to West point with its many beautiful beaches. There are restaurants, banks and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity.

Nous avons passé 7 semaines dans cet hébergement. Nous étions 2 adultes. La maison est très bien localisée dans le milieu de l’île et à 5 minutes en auto du centre ville. La rue est tranquille mais comme on est près de la ville on entend souvent des ambulances passer. L’extérieur de la propriété est extraordinaire, belle piscine, belle vue, places à l’ombre et au soleil. Bbq à briquette. Par contre, les chaises longues doivent être remplacées. L’intérieur est bien mais demande un peu d’amélioration ex. Meubles de salon. La chambre principale est très confortable mais la literie doit être changée. La cuisine est assez bien équipée mais demander à l’hôte de remplacer ou ajouter certains choses si nécessaire. Noter qu’il n’y a pas de moustiquaires et climatisation dans l’espace cuisine, salon. Comme nous vivions toujours dehors ça n’a pas été un gros problème pour nous. Seul problème ce sont les fourmis qui s’infiltrent mais cela doit être pareil ailleurs. Facile de communiquer avec la gestionnaire par WhatsApp.

De woning ligt in de stad, maar heeft uitzicht op zee en een zwembad. Er is veel ruimte.

Positief, veel ruimte binnen en buiten, de woning ziet er keurig uit. Eigenaars zijn vriendelijk. Het zwembad wordt goed onderhouden. De woning heeft jaloezieën en geen gewone ramen. Dat geeft wel een mooie authentieke sfeer. Het kost wel wat meer moeite om de muggen buiten te houden. Je hebt er een mooi uitzicht over een deel van de stad en op de zee. Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad en het is mogelijk dat we de woning in de toekomst nog wel eens willen huren. Wij waren met vier personen, maar de woning heeft zeker genoeg ruimte voor 6 mensen. Als je niet bang bent voor een wandelingetje is het centrum van Willemstad lopend te bereiken. Wij hebben dat een paar keer gedaan. Het Curaçaos museum is vlakbij en de moeite waard om te bezoeken.
