The property/service was average. When you book with Dreams resort based on their other properties and locations they have a set standard and set the bar. This Dreams resort does not meet the average Dreams standard. It feels like they took over an older location and never made the adjustments to live up to the Dreams name.

This place was terrible. Nowhere near worth what it costs. Hallways smelled of mold, rooms full of ripped furniture, bathrooms moldy, closets rusty and worst of all…bugs crawling all over the food. Only stayed 1 night instead of 5 because it was so bad and they refused to refund any money.

it is not a bad resort to stay at, but it’s definitely not worth the money they charge. Service is very slow, room service didn’t come at times. Resort is small. The food is not bad but it’s definitely very repetitive. Some staff were nice and attentive. but in particular the male overweight casino greeter was very rude. He whistled at me instead of saying “excuse me” and demanded I left the casino because I came with my bathing suit on even though there’s not a sign that says you can’t come in with it on. It’s definitely not the worst place I’ve ever stayed at, but I just don’t think that it’s worth the money. Maybe if it was a little bit more updated, staff was nicer, and a perhaps bigger beach or more activities. Then maybe I would stay again. But definitely not for my birthday. Curaçao is so beautiful. There are other places that may be more worth your while.

Very pretty resort and not overly crowded. Dining options were less than expected but good food at the three dinner restaurants. Website made it sound like more options. Very loud at night with entertainment right under the rooms and thin walls. Beautiful water and pool.

Bathroom Shower wasn't working properly. Toilet flush wasn't working as well. we had to keep pulling chain to flush. Room cleaning service wasn't done in timely manner. Upon arrival, room wasn't ready until 5pm. we had keep telling to fill minibar. Not enough outlet, lights, fan in the room. Employees are very lazy and laid back. Buffet we had to ask for fork and knife every single time. During breakfast, we had to get our own coffee and water. There was no table service provide. Glasses were not cleaned. Everyday same bland food. Employees looked overworked, not smiling. There is no dinner buffet. Specialty restaurants had same food everyday. No options for vegetarian food. Fishes and Chicken dishes were over cooked. In Italian Dinner, no one filling up the salad bar even though we spoke to employee. Oceana, there were empty tables but they didn't let us sit. Felt like they were helping only selected guests and as well as through out resort. Same food everyday. Service was terrible. Wait was over and 1 hour. Getting food was more that 45mins. soup was cold every time. Salad bar wasn't filled. waiter try to ignore, no eye contact.

All staff were extremely nice and friendly. The property looks like it has started renovation but our room which was a partial view was lacking. We did attempt to upgrade to full ocean view but there was no availability. Our room overlooked the building below and gravel parking lot. While the balcony itself was upgraded it was not pleasant to sit outside. We had to request service for toilet that didn’t flush which was never fully fixed. The shower had an upgraded rainfall fixture but the knob to turn it on was falling out of the wall. We also requested service for the shower as the room above us leaked into our shower. A repair man came but after three days it started leaking again. So when we showered the water dripped on us from above. The maid service inconsistently left us the incorrect number of towels. We had to call to get toilet paper which was never replaced. There was no hygiene kits such as q-tips. The room service did take an hr an 1/2 for food to be delivered. The lobby area was nice and updated. The entertainment staff were great, pleasant and inclusive every evening was enjoyable. The pool and beach area were nice however the majority of the lounge chairs were broken both at the pool and at the beach. Unfortunately people did not throw their trash away.The pool side snacks were hot dogs that were consistently under cooked. The buffet lacked variety and the food was never very hot or the cold items never kept chilled.

Entertainment was great made the stay even better, however the fire alarms went off at 11pm and 5am on different days and affected our sleep. In our bathroom the cold water did not work at all as we were forced to bathe in only hot water. Hoping that the food bars can have more local food
