The Avila Beach Hotel is a lovely property beautifully updated in classic Caribbean style. The 2 coves offer calm, clear waters excellent for swimming and snorkeling. The restaurants are good, rooms are clean, and staff are friendly and attentive. A mile walk and you’re in the town center of Willemstad with wonderful shops and local restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. When we arrived we were greeted with glasses of local fruit bunch with fresh, sliced orange. The front desk was exceedingly polite. The hotel grounds are well kept and generally quiet. The food at the resort and in town is all SO good (and we’re snobby New Yorkers!). There are at least 6 or 7 outstanding restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and the neighborhood is safe enough to walk around at night.

We loved our stay at Avila Beach Hotel. The Pen restaurant was delicious for all meals, the location was close to restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the Queen Emma Bridge, and the staff were all amazingly professional and welcoming.

It was everything we needed and more. Perfect service, the most comfy beds we ever needed, never had to fight for a beach chair. On sight resturants and bars, plus easy walking distance to great local restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

Great resort! Only issues were a wedding reception that was quite loud right outside our first floor balcony, and not getting a room with one bed...we got 2 beds for our 27th Wedding Anniversary stay...

Loved almost everything. The only issue was that our room was on the first floor next to a wedding reception that was very loud, and they only had a room with 2 beds for our 27th Wedding anniversary trip :-( Otherwise the hotel was great!
