Welcome to our Hohenhardt Castle.
For 900 years, Hohenhardt Castle has stood majestically atop its hill, high above the rolling hills of the Kraichgau region. Its idyllic and secluded location, far from the hustle and bustle of the cities and the noise of the roads, creates a place of peace and relaxation.
Here you can unwind, recharge your batteries, and enjoy the breathtaking view from the castle. Or simply relax in the sun in the picturesque castle courtyard. A perfect retreat to escape the everyday hustle and bustle.
The accommodation:
Room 6 consists of one room and its own shower/toilet. The room is on the second floor of the castle, where there is also a fully equipped kitchen that you can use. A coffee machine, coffee grounds, various teas, creamer, and sugar are provided.

Der Check In mit den Schlüsseldosen war unproblematisch. Man muss ein wenig Kondition mitbringen, es sind einige Stufen zu überwinden.Zimmer/Bad sehr sauber. Die Küche teilt man sich mit den Mitbewohnern auf der Etage. Mir fehlte die Nespresso Maschine, hatte extra Kapsel besorgt, die habe ich geöffnet und in der Filtermaschine benutzt. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer ist phänomenal. Ein Stück unterhalb der Burg befindet eine ausgebaute ex Bahntrasse, dort kann man , zu Fuß oder Rad jede Menge Meter machen. Mit dem Auto kommt man leicht zu den größeren Städten. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein Restaurant oder, etwas unterhalb ein Kiosk für einen kleinen Imbiss. Zur Abwechslung kann man auch die Gastronomie in den Nachbarorten aufsuchen, diese sind innerhalb von 30Min. fußläufig erreichbar. Zur Versorgung findet sich dort auch ein gut ausgestatteter Rewe Markt.Alles in Allem ein schöner Aufenthaltsort für Reisende mit kleinem Gepäck, die auf einige Hotelstandarts (Frühstücksbüffet, Lift) verzichten können. Ich komme gerne wieder.
