The Space: Park View is a newly converted, ground floor apartment located within a charming Victorian house. Situated just minutes from the centre of Whitby, the holiday home has everything you could want for a stay on the North Yorkshire coast. There will be a tablet waiting for you when you arrive, featuring information about the local area and the property – so tap away! The quality of the refurbishment is especially evident in the open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. In here you’ll find two comfy sofas which provide that home from-home feeling you just can’t get in a hotel. Kick off your shoes and relax. From the large window, you have a wonderful view of the park (the perfect inspiration for our property name). Turn on the wall-mounted cable TV and you’ll have a wide selection of channels to choose from. Fancy something to eat, or maybe a brew (Yorkshire Tea of course)? The modern kitchen shares this open space, so there isn’t far to go when you need to grab a snack or prepare a meal. Appliances aplenty are found in here, including a dishwasher as nobody needs to be washing-up during their holiday! When you need to get ready to go out or head off to bed, the apartments modern bathroom suite has a standalone shower plus a brand-new wash basin and WC. When sleep calls, both bedrooms offer luxuriously relaxing surroundings, each with a double bed (one of which is a zip and link that can be configured as 2 single beds if you prefer). In one of the bedrooms, there’s direct access to the sought-after patio space at the rear of the property. Here you can soak up the peace and quiet, enjoy a morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of something bubbly.
Guest Access: Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Free on and off street parking is available on a first come basis. Additional free parking can be found nearby, and full details will be sent to you before check in.
The Neighborhood: Many guests have commented on just how close the apartment is to the centre of Whitby, and Whitby Harbour. It is just a short walk away, so it’s ideal if you want to experience what life is like living by the sea. The area is famous for the quality of its fish and chip restaurants, and there are plenty of places where you can sink your teeth into a fresh catch. When you fancy a drink, you’ll find a variety of bars as well as pubs and shops in the local area. Whitby is also famous for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. You’ll find plenty of sites near the apartment with historic interest relating to the story. The main inspiration can be found at the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey. Other places close by that are well worth a visit include Flowergate and Pannet Park (which can be seen from the apartment). Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around: There is free on-street parking at the front and around the side of the apartment, but you don’t need to have a car to enjoy staying here as it’s such a short walk to the town centre, Whitby harbour and to the train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.

Property very clean and lots of amenaties even a little yard area at the back.
Parking was a little trickey we had to park far away and walk.

Excellent location for exploring the wonderful Whitby and surrounding areas!
Excellent location made it easy exploring local area. We phones to ask about parking and they said to the front or to the side but sign said for residents only at side? We parked up the road in the end as unsure-moght need to make a little clearer maybe with photo to clarify areas? Some sheets had some marks on and couple of home but we're lovely and clean and fresh so happy with that. Really enjoyed our stay at the flat, thank you from us all!

Lovely property with easy access and free parking on the main road. It was situated less than 10 minutes easy stroll to Whitby centre and all its attractions and beaches. The apartment was modern, comfortable and very clean. I would definitely choose this accommodation again.
Great location opposite park. Lovely and quiet but still easy to walk to the hustle and bustle of Whitby.

Lovely little apartment
The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all of the amenities anyone would require - i took dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, kitchen roll, toilet roll etc but didn’t need any of it as there was plenty of it all there. The apartment is in a very nice area of Whitby next to lovely park and the communication was excellent.
