The older woman working the breakfast counter was SOOOO RUDE to both me and my friend on two separate occasions!!! For literally no reason! I asked if there was actually nuts in the waffle mix because my best friend is allergic & she refused to look at the ingredients on the package. She said "she can have the original or nothing" like what??? The front desk lady did look for me and there are NO NUTS for everyone with allergies who also might be wondering! And then the next day, my best friend told me the same lady refused to even speak to her because it was 8:55 and breakfast is "closed & you need to leave" she needs to be FIRED! Absolutely no excuses for the way she treated us. The rooms were fine & the breakfast was subpar. Not a lot of food places around but you can drive to some within 15-30 mins.

Easy check in, the room was very clean. We got in rather late, and the front desk Staff got us quickly checked in. The hotel it self, like the hallway, the elevator, and some of the common areas are still in need of renovating, but for a quick one night stop while on the road, it was great.

Great service. Simple hotel. Good pool and hot tub. The ladies running breakfast work very hard to keep it full and clean. Desk staff very friendly. Close to food and shopping. Our 2nd or 3rd day. Will be back. We’ve stayed in two other near by hotels and this is the best value for the area.

I been coming back 🏡 to wheeling for a visit now for 22 yrs now and love staying at the comfort inn. It gives my kids a nice pool to play in and a nice hot tub for me to relax my muscles. The staff is almost always very kind and go above what is expected. Never had any real bad issues even with it being next to a truck stop.
